Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for a large and growing agricultural operation. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating field activities, managing operational logistics, supervising spray and dispatch teams, and ensuring accurate operational reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong agricultural experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced farming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day farm operations and field activities
  • Coordinate and manage dispatching and scheduling of crews and equipment
  • Supervise spray team operations and ensure proper application procedures
  • Monitor and manage chemical inventory, usage, and compliance practices
  • Input and maintain operational data within farm management software systems
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping for applications, equipment, and field activities
  • Work closely with ownership and management to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain safety standards and compliance with agricultural regulations
  • Assist with planning, logistics, staffing, and operational problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Previous agriculture or farm operations experience required
  • Experience managing crews, dispatching, or field operations preferred
  • Knowledge of agricultural chemicals and spray operations strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn farm management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000 &- $120,000 DOE
  • Full benefits package included
