Work Schedule:
100% FTE; Day Shift. Schedule range Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 3:00PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking Surgical Services Equipment Coordinator to:

  • Troubleshoot and provide guidance on the proper use of Surgical Services equipment and implement repairs as required.
  • Manage equipment and facilities within Surgical Services and be a contact for the Operating Room.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance of applicable Surgical Services equipment based on the UW Health Medical Equipment Management Plan.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Completion of surgical technician program or other applicable certifications and/or degrees. Preferred

Work Experience

  • 1 year of applicable experience in a healthcare setting. Required
  • 3 years years of experience in an operating room healthcare setting or perioperative environment. Preferred
