Description

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Team Leader is directly responsible for all aspects of service, delivery, as well as merchandising related activities. This position is accountable for training, supervising, managing, and motivating team members on a daily basis. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow and output of the department.
  • Coaches and trains staff in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Creates, develops, and maintains positive relationships with every account.
  • Works with Sales Team to resolve any retailer/delivery issues.
  • Identifies and communicates daily issues and opportunities with the Service Manager and upper management.
  • Provides quick and complete resolutions to customer and employee complaints.
  • Tracks attendance and vacation schedules; ensure requests are submitted, posted, and do not represent a conflict.
  • Clearly communicates team objectives and facilitates collection of results.
  • Fills in on routes as needed.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Participates in, as well as leads, department trainings and meetings.
  • Properly ensures that all staff adheres to safety guidelines and practices set forth by WDI, FMCSA, OSHA and all other regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinates fleet/building maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location

  • Start/End in the Milwaukee area

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
  • Early start/finish times

Compensation

  • Starting salary of $70,000
  • Monthly vehicle allowance
  • Monthly phone allowance
  • Steel toe boots/shoes reimbursement
Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience working in the beverage industry highly preferred.
  • 2 or more years of supervisory and/or leadership experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required; CDL preferred.
  • Ability to lift/maneuver up to 165 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Displays a positive attitude and patience in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of mobile devices and various applications, including an iPad.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proven teamwork and people skills.
Salary Description
$70,000 annually
