| Position Overview | The Opus College of Engineering at Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) invites applications for part-time faculty to join us as we expand the Systems Engineering program. Currently, the program offers a graduate certificate to introduce and integrate the fundamentals of Systems Engineering across all domains of engineering. The college is looking to develop and offer industry-focused short courses as well as expand our current elective courses. Applications must be submitted through Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. |
| Duties and Responsibilities | Duties include the following: develop interactive learning activities, provide lectures and other delivery of course content, develop and assign assessment activities (i.e., homework, tests, and other items as deemed appropriate), grade assignments, provide supplemental, upper-level assignments and assessment for graduate students enrolled in the graduate section, and provide two hours of office-hour time per week to answer student questions. |
| Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree. |
| Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Applicants must have previous academic and/or professional experience in systems, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. A MS/ME in engineering or a related field, or at least 5 years of professional work in industrial or manufacturing engineering with significant systems engineering experience, is required. |
