Join the Medical/Surgical team at Mukwonago Hospital, ProHealth Care’s modern full-service community hospital featuring 24 private inpatient beds and a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Our team cares for a diverse patient population, including adult medical, post-surgical, and observation patients, offering broad clinical experience in a fast-paced setting.

Shift: As Needed

Schedule Details: This pool position commits to 6 shifts in 6 weeks, and holiday rotation.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care working under the direction of the registered nurse per the ANA standards.

The primary responsibilities of the C.N.A. in this role include:
- Communicate changes in patient situations/conditions that would require notification to the RN. This Performs efficient and effective patient bedside handoffs at shift change using SBAR communication methodologies to communicate patient care activities.
- Assists with patient activities as delegated by the RN including activities of daily living (i.e. dressing, ambulating, toileting, eating, grooming, oral care and bathing.)

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS CPR) required
- Active/expired Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- Prior experience as a C.N.A. is preferred
